The Social Research/Social Justice Conference provides students
within the Lehigh Valley a forum for sharing original, excellent
social research on social justice issues. The Conference encourages
exploration among faculty and students of the role of social
research in the creation of more just and humane societies.
Undergraduates
engaged in social scientific research using qualitative or quantative
social research methods are encouraged to submit proposals for
papers or media presentations dealing with all aspects of social
life - institutions, practices, communities, movements, identities
- and connected to issues of social justice. Proposals are invited
on any aspect of social justice and contributions that engage
social justice issues in the Lehigh Valley are particularly encouraged.
