Study Abroad

The Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges has been coordinating summer study abroad programs in language since 1983.

Each year LVAIC students and faculty directors travel to Bonn,
Germany; Rome, Italy; and Seville, Spain, for six to seven weeks of
intensive, but exciting, study, excursions, and immersion in the culture of the country. Students gain an important opportunity to strengthen linguistic and cross-cultural skills.

LVAIC students cross-register for these programs and receive grades on their home institution transcript. The academic experience is rigorous and highly rewarding. A cultural component of each program features tours and opportunities to visit sites of historic, artistic, and political significance.
