Welcome to LVAIC! The Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges was established in 1969 by the presidents of the six nationally recognized private colleges and universities located in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. These visionary presidents created one of the first regional consortia in the country for the purpose of exploring opportunities for the sharing of ideas, implementing collaborative academic and student life ventures, enhancing the quality of life in their community, as well as, generating cost savings and efficiencies of operation.
